France include Vakatawa and Doussain for Six Nations

France coach Guy Noves has included Virimi Vakatawa and Jean-Marc Doussain in their squad for the Six Nations but there is no place for Mathieu Bastareaud in the 31-man party.

Doussain last played for Les Bleus in the 2014 Six Nations while Vakatawa has impressed in France’s Sevens squad and will make his Test debut if called on in the forthcoming championship.

Bastareaud is left out, however, while Rory Kockott, Sebastien Tillous-Borde and Noa Nakaitaci also miss out after making the cut for the World Cup.

A further seven uncapped players are included alongside Vakatawa with forwards Camille Chat, Jefferson Poirot, Yacouba Camara, Kevin Gourdon and Paul Jedrasiak included along with Sebastien Bezy and Jonathan Danty.
