Watch: No limits to Barrett boys’ jaw-dropping skill

4:14 AM BST

And you thought the Barrett brothers had exhausted their bag of tricks.

As the Hurricanes prepare to meet the Brumbies in the first of the four Super Rugby quarterfinals on Friday night, video of Jordie Barrett kicking a sideline conversion in Canberra has sent social media into a frenzy.

  • When Dumb and Dumber met the All Blacks

Beauden Barrett dropped one of the family’s nicknames for brother, Jordie, on the All Blacks earlier this year. But Steve Hansen and the rest of the nation were further enlightened on Thursday after all three boys were confirmed for the Lions decider.

A mere sideline conversion? What’s so special about that, you ask?

Well the fact that Barrett is a natural right-footer and that this conversion was taken with his left foot should hopefully clear up the confusion.

Jordie Barrett will play outside centre for the Hurricanes on Friday night while brother Beauden returns at fly-half after missing last week’s win over the Crusaders through illness.

End of @Hurricanesrugby training kicking comp. Jordie Barrett knocks one over from the sideline with his left foot!
